Murad takes notice of skyrocketing price of tomatoes

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday took serious note of sky-rocketing prices of tomatoes, onions and others vegetables and directed agriculture department to intervene by reducing the role of middlemen and control the prices. Vegetable prices down

Fresh arrival and proper supply has pushed prices of vegetables down in the provincial metropolis Peshawar. Prices of vegetables including tomato, onion, potato, and other seasonal vegetables have reduced by 50 to 70 percent in local market, while prices of ginger, garlic, lemon, and green chili remain stable.
