Rain with gusty wind and thunderstorm is expected in some parts of the country
Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has informed that a strong westerly weather system is likely to enter in Pakistan on Tuesday (today) evening that will produce more rains for two to three days (Wednesday-Friday).
PMD sent a warning to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), declaring the airspace between Burewala to Lahore as dangerous for flight operations owing to bad weather.
In Balochistan, a cloudy weather with rainfall and snowfall at mountains is expected in Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, Qilla Saifullah, Qilla Abdullah, Loralai, Nushki, Chaman, Kalat, Barkhan, Khuzdar, Gwadar, Kech and Panjgur.
Light rain is expected at a few places
The lowest temperature recorded at Kalam -14°Celsius, Parachinar, Malamjabba -08°C, Skardu -07°C, Kalat, Astore -05°Celsius, Murree -04°C, Chillas and Chitral -03°Celsius.
A strong westerly wave is affecting most upper and central parts of the country and likely to persist in upper parts during next 24 hours.
According to the met office presently a westerly wave is affecting upper and central parts of the country, which is likely to interact with monsoon currents and will grip most parts of the country on Thursday (today).
The minimum temperature will further move downward with restoration of sea breeze, according to the weather department.
