KARACHI: A Taliban commander was killed in targeted operation of Rangers in Manghopir area, ARY News reported Friday.
Rangers team launched their targeted operation in morning in Sultanabad, area of Manghopir, since morning on a tip-off regarding presence of notorious criminals belonging to banned terrorist outfits.
Intermitent exchange of fire ensued soon after Rangers reached the hideouts of terrorist elements.
Two Rangers personnel were also injured in exchange of fire between them. Both the injured personnel were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
The slain Taliban commander was identified as Fakhruddin, alias Fakhru.
