Taliban committee meets Sami, informs about N Waziristan proceedings
NAUSHEHRA: Taliban-nominated committee after meeting the political council of Taliban in North Waziristan, has met the Jamiat Ulema Islam-Sami (JUIS) Chief, Molana Sami ul Haq and informed him about the details of its meeting with Taliban elders – ARY News reports.
Briefing the media after meeting with the committee, Molana Sami ul Haq told that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is striving to achieve a political consensus regarding Government's negotiations with Taliban, whilst he has also hinted at pondering upon the release of arrested women and children.
While expressing grief over Islamabad Court Attack, Quetta and Peshawar incidents, Sami told that such happenings are aimed at derailing the peace process with Taliban.
He expressed his determination that negotiations will be held even if these are to be held a hundred times, whereas an all-out operation will not be allowed at all.
