Taliban demand for free peace-zone for dialogue, says Sami ul Haq

ISLAMABAD: Molana Sami ul Haq, member of Taliban committee, has said that he is unaware of the fact as to where the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) supremo, Mullah Fazlullah is, whereas the banned outfit has demanded for a free peace-zone for holding a dialogue – ARY News reports.

According to details, Molana Sami ul Haq told that Taliban have demanded for a free peace-zone for negotiations with the Government of Pakistan. It was told that there are security forces' check-points at several places in the tribal region, due to which TTP members cannot move freely.

After the negotiations commence, multiple sessions will be held and for each session of talks a free zone is a must.

Sami told that most of TTP members are underground fearing their arrests, also there is no information about Mullah Fazlullah's place.

He elaborated further that the affairs of banned organization are being run by a council comprising of 16 people, out of which 3-4 are expected to represent TTP in negotiations with the Government.
