ISLAMABAD: Professor Ibrahim, a member of Taliban talks committee, has said that the government's problems and infighting between Taliban have created hurdles in the dialogue process, ARY News reports.

Talking to media, Prof. Ibrahim said that the negotiating team striving to ensure announcement of extension in ceasefire from Taliban soon. 

According to reports, a meeting of the Shura of outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan was held in North Waziristan on Friday to discuss whether to extend or end the ceasefire as US drones hovering at low altitude in parts of the tribal region.

The TTP had announced month-long ceasefire at the beginning of the peace talks with the government from March 1st. The ceasefire later extended for 10 more days till April 10.

According to reports Taliban are divided whether to further extend the ceasefire or not.
