Taliban shura'a seeks meeting with Interior Minister, military officials

PESHAWAR: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) political shura'a has expressed its will to meet the Federal Interior Minister and higher military officials for practically shaping a ceasefire from both sides – ARY News reports.

Sources told that the Taliban shura'a, during its meet with the peace committee, complained about Molana Fazlur Rahman and Imran Khan for not taking part in the negotiations process. The shura'a further added that doing so, these leaders have raised a question mark upon trusting them in future.

On the other hand, Government and Taliban committees for peace talks are expected to meet soon, in which Taliban committee will brief the Government's team about its talks held with the political shura'a of Taliban.

Taliban committee will also0 convey five point suggestions of the shura'a to the Government's committee.

Meanwhile, State Minister on Interior Affairs, Balighur Rahman has said that the Prime Minister clarified that the negotiations will be held remaining within the constitutional boundaries, whereas holding talks with Taliban was a unanimous decision of all the political parties.
