Taliban offers peace talks again
MIRANSHAH: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has once again offered to hold peace talks with the Federal Government of Pakistan on Sunday, ARY News reports.
Shahidullah Shahid, spokesman of TTP, said that the militant outfit is ready to hold talks with Pakistan if it provides favorable atmosphere for the process.
In a statement, Shahidullah Shahid further added that he told Maulana Sami-ul-Haq that the government only gave statements on the media so that the attention of the people can be diverted. He claimed the government of Pakistan is trying to impose a war on the tribal people after self-denial and forming allegations.
He claimed that the media has made a baseless propaganda regarding TTP whereas they wish to remain neutral with the media.
