Taliban shura decides on declaring ceasefire
ISLAMABAD: Taliban shura (council) has decided to declare ceasefire, ARY News reported on Sunday.
Sources told that Taliban had also demanded government to announce ceasefire.
A meeting between Taliban-nominated committee and government committee for peace talks could be summoned tomorrow (Monday).
The Taliban shura said government should not resort to any move that may hamper the peace process. Sources said the Taliban demanded that Army should be withdrawn from South Waziristan. Taliban also demanded that impriosned children, elders and other unarmed persons should be released by the government, sources added.
