ISLAMABAD: Chief of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has urged for transparent dialogue with Taliban, ARY News reported on Friday. 

PTI chief was talking with Rustam Shah Mohmand and Rahimullah Yousufzai, two members of the committee that will hold talks with Taliban militants. 

Imran Khan said that the talks process with Taliban should be transparent and the media kept informed about it.

Earlier, the meeting of the committee comprises of Rahimullah Yousufzai, Rustam Shah Mohmand, Major (retd) Amir and Irfan Siddiqui was held with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in chair. 

Sharif asked the members to hold talks with the groups of Taliban militants who want dialogue with the government.

The meeting also touched upon topics in the committee's mandate and rules of negotiations with militants.
