ISLAMABAD: The negotiators representing the government and Taliban militants were agreed that the peace talks be held within the framework of the constitution, ARY News reported on Friday. 

In Taliban talks the government negotiators urged that the scope of the peace talks with Taliban be restricted to only the insurgency-hit areas of Pakistan.

The government representatives also urged that all activities affecting the peace process should immediately be stopped.

While the Taliban committee demanded for their meetings with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the Chief of Army Staff and the Director General ISI.

The government negotiators also demanded for meeting with the leadership of Taliban militants.
