Taliban’s one-sided statements should not be trusted, says Altaf

KARACHI: MQM chief Altaf Hussain said one-sided statements by the Taliban should not trusted and an inquiry be held into recent terrorist attacks, ARY News reported on Tuesday.

He stated the people believed that terrorist organization,  Ahrarul Hind, was existed mere on paper, while the attacks were actually perpetrated by the Taliban on Islamabad district court.

He said people’s perception could be well judged on social media where they feel that Taliban would continue attacks on security forces and public places in disguise.

Altaf also appealed the prime minister and interior minister to hold thorough and impartial inquiry into recent terrorist attacks, which were not claimed by the Taliban. He said Taliban’s disassociation from attacks should not be trusted.

He, however, agreed to the prime minister’s statement that dialogue and attacks could not together.
