KARACHI: Law enforcing agencies arrested 12 suspects including an alleged target killer from different parts of Karachi and recovered arms and stolen goods while a tortured body was found from Teen Hatti area, ARY News reports.
According to police, New Karachi Police arrested a suspected target killer named Usman alias Aashi. TT pistols and bullets were also recovered from the suspect. He is said to be involved in killing of several persons including a Sub-Inspector Alamgir along with dacoity and other criminal offences.
Four dacoits were arrested during crackdowns in the jurisdictions of Peerabad and Sir Syed Police Stations. Arms, stolen motorcycles and looted goods were recovered from the arrested persons as well.
Rangers arrested two alleged Lyari gangster from Rangiwara area of Lyari overnight. They were shifted to an unknown location for further investigation.
A body of a forty year old person was found near Teen Hatti drainage. He was shot dead after being tortured.
Two others were wounded in firing incidents at Mauripur and Liaquatabad areas.
