Terrorists gunned down in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Two alleged terrorists were killed in an encounter at Matni Bazaar area of Peshawar on Sunday, ARY News reports.

Sources reported that armed terrorists opened fire at the police officers. Two terrorists were killed in the retaliatory fire while two others were wounded.

According to the police, a target killer from Afghanistan was amongst the deceased. He used to command the target killing activities in Peshawar.

Police further added that he used to take Rs. 30,000 to 50,000 per killing. They also said that the target of the terrorist was the checkpost at Frontier Road.

Arms and hand grenades were recovered from the terrorists.

Four others were also arrested during raids at different areas of the city after the incident.
