Tassaduq reviews security plans for courts
LAHORE: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Tassaduq Hussain Jillani reviewed the security plans made for the courts in a meeting here in the Lahore Registry of the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) on Saturday, ARY News reports.
Key officials including Home Secretary of Punjab, Additional Secretary of Internal Security, Additional Inspector General (AIG), Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Lahore and top officials of Punjab Police attended the meeting presided by the CJP.
The police officers brief the top judge about the steps and plans taken to ensure the safety of the courts.
The road in front of the Lahore Registry was closed for all kinds of traffic during the meeting headed by the Chief Justice.
