LOS ANGELES: Taylor Swift was named as the highest earning musician of 2013, ARY News reports.
According to details issued by Billboard, the 24 year old Taylor Swift was leading the list with her total earnings of $39 million.
She earned more than $6 million Kenny Chesney, number two in the rankings, in 2013.
Swift and Chesney are one-two in the list of richest musicians, which comprises of Justin Timberlake, Bon Jovi, The Rolling Stones, Beyonce, Maroon 5, Luke Bryan, Pink and Fleetwood Mac.
Swift’s money-making methods can be justified in a way that she capitalizes on every single revenue possibility there is to offer.
Her album sales have always been high whereas her earnings digital media is also soaring high. According to reports from Billboard, the Love Story singer has more than 10 million downloads and is the fifth highest earner of royalties from online streaming.
Her revenues are generated greatly due to her tours as well. The passion and support of her “Swifties” (the fans of Taylor Swift), her Red Tour earned the 24 year old to gather $30 million — way more than anyone else on the list. She earned greatly from her sponsorships from Keds, Elizabeth Arden and Diet Coke, along with merchandise sales. She took $17 from each ticket of her concerts.
