TDAP awarded gold medal

Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) was awarded high-level laurels at the 37th Annual Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Export Awards held recently. Secretary TDAP Ms Rabiya Javeri Agha was awarded an exclusive gold medal for the organisation's progress in attaining export targets, and holding the Expo Pakistan 2013 in a professional manner.

TDAP hosts Expo Pakistan’s largest international exhibition, which showcases products from across all sectors and regions of the country. They are working towards numerous projects for the enhancement of the nation's trade, including WEXNET, an event to promote female entrepreneurs, and Expo Pakistan 2014.

Ms Agha, an experienced career bureaucrat received the award from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The event hosted by Zubair Malick, President of FPCCI. Gold medals and trophies were also awarded to 67 other exporters and businessmen for the achievements in the field of trade.

TDAP, established in 2006, is the successor organisation to Export Promotion Bureau, and the sole federal body mandated with global trade promotion.
