A joint investigation team (JIT) report submitted to the Sindh High Court by the Rangers recently disclosed that the fire incident on September 11, 2012, was not an accident but an arson attack.
The investigation team headed by AIG Khadim Hussain will reinvestigate into the fire incident, I.G. Sindh Police Ghulam Hyder Jamali has said.
He said that accused Rizwan Qureshi has been released on bail. The authorities have decided to include his name in the exit control list.
Rizwan Qureshi during the interrogation had made several revealations with regard to the fire incident, JIT report had disclosed.
