KARACHI: In a bid to celebrate independence day in a productive fashion, Team Sar-e-Aam, led by ARY News anchor Iqrar-ul-Hassan started a campaign aimed at planting 1.4million trees till August 14, ARY News reported.
The tree plantation drive was started by Iqrar-ul-Hassan from Karachi while team members are also planting trees in other parts of the country.
“TeamSareAam has launched a tree plantation campaign nationwide, target is to plant 1.4 million trees till 14th august. To spread the message we are visiting universities, colleges and Madaris (religious seminaries as well,” Iqrar-ul-Hassan wrote on Twitter.
He kicked off the campaign by planting trees in Jamia Abu-Bakr-Al-Almia and Hamdard University.

It is pertinent to note here that Sar-e-Aam team also did similar activities on days like Quaid-e-Azam’s birthday and Pakistan Day.
