Terror bid foiled in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Security agencies defused a bomb near a graveyard here on Monday ahead of a burial in which thousands of people were expected to attend.

According to details received by ARY News, security forces received information of a bomb planted along the route of Rehman Baba Graveyard here in Peshawar.

Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) arrived at the scene and defused the one and a half kilogram explosive, saving the city from another terrorist attack this month.

More than 20 people were killed when Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists attacked a Shiite mosque last Friday.

The country is still grieving over the attack on Army Public School (APS) in which 150 people mostly children were killed.
