Terror plot foiled in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: An explosive device weighing 2.5 kilograms was recovered from an under-construction building in the capital city in wee hours of Thursday, ARY News reported.
When informed about the presence of explosives device in basement of Bari Imam building, law enforcers reached the site and summoned Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS).
The BDS officials defused the explosives device, which was connected through wires.
Police said the bomb was planted to carry out terrorism activity, however it could not go off.
According to media reports, intelligence agencies have kept the device in their possession.
