Terrorism activities feared during PTI, PAT rallies, says Rana

LAHORE: Provincial Law Minister of Punjab, Rana Sanaullah has said that terrorism activities are being feared during the rallies of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), whereas as leaders of both the parties have already been informed about security threats – ARY News reports.

In a telephonic conversation with ARY News, Rana Sanaullah told that local administration of all the districts has been informed about terrorism threats countrywide. He added that security threats also persist during the rallies of PTI and PAT, and the top leadership of both the parties has also been informed about this.

Rana told that threats are higher for PAT to be targeted by terrorists, as compared to PTI.

The Law Minister Punjab expressed his hopes that the workers of both the parties will follow the code of conduct issued for the rallies; however he warned that if miscreants tried to violate the law and order by joining in the rallies, then an action will be taken according to the law.
