Terrorism years old issue, can't resolve in 10 days, says Governor KP
ISLAMABAD: The Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Engineer Shaukatullah Khan has said that terrorism is a ten years old issue; it cannot be resolved in 10 days. He added that it will take time and every single tactic, that can establish peace, will be used for this purpose – ARY News reports.
Talking to media at the inaugural ceremony of PTCL Inter Media Cricket Tournament, Engineer Shaukatullah Khan said that the Federation and the KP Government are working seriously on the peace negotiations. He told that the way negotiations process is continued, it is hoped that peace will soon be restored here.
The Governor KP stated that it a false perception that FATA is a stronghold of terrorists, there are good and bad people everywhere, yet FATA has lesser number of bad ones as compared to patriotic and peace loving- citizens there.
He told that the development works are ongoing in FATA and the Government is trying to bring tribal areas into the national mainstream, in order to show the world its brighter face.
Engineer Shaukatullah Khan further claimed that an Indoor Sports Complex is being built in FATA, whereas a cricket stadium at par with international standards will be established there in the Khyber Agency.
