After Thar, red alert issued in 8 districts of Sindh
KARACHI: The Sindh government on Wednesday issued red alert in eight districts of the province, fearing drough-like sitaution to surface there, ARY News reported.
Rehabiliation Secretary Roshan Ali Sheikh told that government had alerted all officials to ready to cope with any untoward incident, if arises. The eight districts where red alert is issued include Sanghar, Khairpur, Thatta, Nawabshah, Sajawal, Sukkur and Umerkot.
Roshan told that leaves of Agriculture and Wildlife department employees had also been called off, in view of the current situation.
