Third ODI: Pakistan elects to bat in decider

DAMBULLA: Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat in the third and final one day international against Sri Lanka at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla on Saturday (today), ARY News reports.

Pakistani spinner Saeed Ajmal will make his return to the team after undergoing a bowling action test. Junaid Khan will not be seen in action today.

Sri Lanka have replaced fast bowler Nuwan Kulasekara with Dhammika Prasad.

The Green Shirts won the first ODI by four wickets but Sri Lanka made a comeback in the series and won the second match after beating Pakistan by 77 runs.

Pakistan XI: Sharjeel Khan, Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Umar Akmal, Misbah-ul-Haq, Fawad Alam, Sohaib Maqsood, Shahid Afridi, Wahab Riaz, Saeed Ajmal and Mohammad Irfan.

Sri Lanka XI: Tillekaratne Dilshan, Upul Tharanga, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Angelo Mathews, Seekkuge Prasanna, Ashan Priyanjan, Thisara Perera, Dhammika Prasad, Rangana Herath and Lasith Malinga.
