This is the best time to stop playing cricket: Tendulkar

MUMBAI:  Sachin Tendulkar has said that this is the best time to quit cricket, “I became emotional while batting in the last inning in Mumbai as tears came out many times during the inning’, added little master in his post retirement press conference, ARY News reported on Sunday.

In his press conference, Sachin said that “I played cricket for 24 years for India, and that was a great thing for me.”

He said that in his career of 24 years he faced many challenges, but the strong determination and desire to play for India made him strong enough to overcome those difficult situations.

“It was a dream journey and support of friends and family made it beautiful”, he added.

Sahin Tendulkar further said that it hasn’t struck me that I won’t play cricket again, and I ended my journey with no regret, I considered that it was the right time to stop playing cricket.

Legendary cricketer claimed that cricket is just like oxygen to him.

“In 40 years, at least 30 years I have played proper cricket. 75% of my life has been cricket” , he added.

Tendulkar said that “I have never think of doing anything except cricket so I will remain connected to cricket after the retirement.”
