Those who couldn’t get ministries now meeting a dictator: Khursheed Shah

TOP NEWS

Addressing a seminar at Sukkur Press Club, Khrusheed Shah said that the founder of PPP, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and the Chairperson, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto sacrificed their lives for the sake of democracy in state.

He added that July 5 will be remembered as a Black Day in the history of Pakistan, when General Zia ul Haq dismissed the democratically elected PPP-government in 1977.

Shah said that first General Zia ul Haq, then General (R) Pervez Musharraf ruled the country by making a fool out of the nation, but the people did not support them.

The Opposition Leader further said that Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif should have welcomed the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief, Tahir ul Qadri upon his arrival, so that the current situation could be changed.

He said that currently there is no genuine leader present in the country and the departure of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto has given rise to a huge vacuum in the political sphere of the country.
