The deaths were reported from Deplo, Islamkot and Amrio village in Mithi. 193 children have died due to shortage of food in the drought struck region.
Lack of rainfall and vegetation paves way to malnutrition amongst mothers, which causes health problems amongst the new borns.
The region continues to face such problems whereas the concerned authorities have failed to address the issue.
