According to police, two dacoits were killed after a brief shootout on Shahrah-e-Faisal near Lal Kothi bus stop. Police also recovered firearms from the dead criminals.
Two suspected criminals were nabbed in injured condition by police personnel after a brief shootout with them near NEPA Chowrangi. Police sources claim that the the criminals were busy robbing people when police encountered them.
Gangster killed in Lyari
On the other hand, police on a tip off conducted raids in Daryabad locality of Lyari area. Several houses were raided during the search operation which saw heavy contingents of City Division Police deployed in the area.
A gang war criminal Osama alias Sangar was killed during the operation.
SSP City Fida Hussain told media that the gang war criminal belonged to Uzair Baloch group and was involved in extortion, robbery, kidnapping for ransom along with killing two police officers.
Firearms and two Awan bombs were recovered from the dead gangster.
