Three killed, 5 injured in Nawabshah road collision

THATTA: At least three people were killed and five injured when a speeding oil tanker collided with two vehicles near Nawabshah, ARY news reported Sunday.

Shortly after the collision, the oil tanker caught fire that led to killing of three people who were aboard a car. The speeding tanker collided with a car and a motorbike near Super Highway.

The injured and the bodies were immediately shifted to hospital. A fire fighting van was also called to the site to douse the fire after huge flames were emitting out of the oil tanker.

ARY News correspondent in Thatta told that a vehicle carrying livestock was also passing by the site that also caught fire. Resultantly, several cattle also died due to fire.

Reports say that around 150 cattle died in the wake of fire.
