SARGODHA: Three persons were killed whereas five persons were injured as unknown persons opened fire at the vehicle of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) representative Maulana Abdul Hameed Khalid earlier today, ARY News reports.
Maulana Abdul Hameed Khalid and his accomplices were en route to Sargodha from Bhakkar when unknown persons, riding a motorcycle, opened fire at Maulana's vehicle near Noori Gate area of Sargodha as he was on his way to court. Three persons were killed whereas five persons, including the ASWJ representative, were injured.
Rescue officials shifted the injured to Civil Hospital Sargodha. The two deceased persons were identified as Sanaullah and Zulfikar whereas one person is yet to be identified.
