Three militants killed, suicide vests, munitions recovered in D.G. Khan

RAWALPINDI: Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) killed three suspected terrorists in a raid in Dera Ghazi Khan and recovered suicide jackets and ammunition, ARY News reported on Thursday.

The law enforcers recovered four suicide jackets, detonators, three SMGs, walkie-talkies, and large cache of ammunition during the operation.

The law enforcement personnel during a combing operation in the wee hours of Thursday in Hafizabad district arrested over 70 suspects including 16 Afghan nationals.

Two miscreants killed in an encounter with Police at New Sabzi Mandi of Karachi while a target killer affiliated with a political party arrested in Joharabad area of the city. An alleged hitman Kamran s/o Jumma Khan said to be affiliated with Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L) group was arrested by police in Joharabad.

In a separate raid, police on a tip-off conducted a raid in New Sabzi Mandi area where allegedly in an exchange of fire two suspects were killed. The suspects were said to be involved in various crimes in nearby areas.

In another raid, police arrested three miscreants including a gang facilitator and two foreign nationals from Napier Road and recovered narcotics from their possession. A case has been lodged against them.

Meanwhile, three alleged bike-snatchers arrested by police in Pakistan Bazaar and recovered stolen motorcycles from their possession.

Moreover, two bullet-riddled bodies of women recovered from Surjani area of Karachi. The deceased were said to be mother and daughter.
