Woman among three killed in clash between two groups in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: At least three people, a woman among them, lost their lives in an armed clash between two groups in the capital on Sunday.

The police said the two armed groups had an exchange of fire within the limits of the Aabpara police station after a feud over grazing of sheep in the fields.

They said the clash left three people dead, including two members of the same family.

Abpara police said two dead bodies were found in a car and shifted to Polyclinic Hospital for autopsy. They were identified as Mian Alam Khan and his wife, who hailed from Waziristan.

Whereas, another killed person, identified as Miskeen, belonged to their rival group.

A suspect involved in the gun battle had been arrested in injured condition, the police said and added efforts are afoot to nab the rest culprits.
