KARACHI: Three leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Sunday joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), ARY News reported.
PTI Karachi President Firdous Shamim Naqvi announced that three important personalities from Malir had joined the PTI including Haji Muzaffar Shajra, Abdul Qadir Baloch and former deputy speaker Sindh Assembly Abdul Bari Jilani.
“Haji Muzaffar Shajra is an honest and benign human being. Whoever joins the PTI, he comes with the determination of building ‘Naya Pakistan’,” he said while talking to media in Karachi.
Expressing his commitment for hard work, Shajra said he had joined the ruling party for the sake of honour. “I am deeply impressed by Imran Khan’s struggle against corruption,” he said.
Baloch said Sindh had become center of issues during last 10 years’ rule of the PPP. The ruling party of the province was no longer able to resolve the issues, he said.
“We hope that PM Imran will fulfill his vision and resolve issues of Karachi and Sindh,” he said.
