SHEIKHUPURA: Police shot dead three robbers on Monday night who were fleeing after robbing passengers of a bus in Sheikhupura, ARY News reported.
According to details, five armed goons deprived the passengers of a bus from cash and other valuables in Sheikhupura.
A passenger of the bus, which was travelling from Sialkot to Lahore, timely informed the police helpline Madadgar 15 about the robbery.
The policemen chased the robbers and shot dead three of them in an exchange of fire, which went on for an hour.
However, two of them managed to escape from the scene.
Police also recovered cash and other looted valuables from the slain robbers.
