QUETTA: Gunmen opened fire over a vehicle of security personnel in Quetta leaving three security men dead, ARY News reported on Friday.
Unidentified armed men opened fire at a van of Frontier Constabulary (FC) at Uzbek Chowk on Spini Road of Quetta resulting in death of three security personnel, officials said.
Contingents of Police and FC rushed to the site of the attack and cordoned off the area.
The law enforcement agencies launched a search operation in the area and detained 30 suspected persons, officials said.
The dead bodies of martyred security men and injured have been transferred to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) of Quetta.
The security agencies have launched an investigation of the incident.
