DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Three people were shot dead in Dera Ismail Khan city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province on Sunday, ARY News reported.
The victims — sitting at the shore of Gonsra River — suffered bullet wounds as unknown persons opened indiscriminate fire at them.
The residents of the area shifted the wounded persons to a hospital where the victims succumbed to their injuries.
The family members of the slain persons protested against the administration by blocking the Indus Highway and placing the dead body on the streets.
Police managed to negotiate with the relatives of the deceased and assured the arrest of the culprits.
