Three Taliban terrorists arrested in Karachi

KARACHI: Three suspected members of a banned outfit were arrested following an exchange of fire with law enforcement agencies at Karachi’s Saeedabad area, ARY News reports.

According to details, the alleged terrorists threw hand grenades at the cops as they tried to escape following a raid in the area. The saboteurs were arrested in wounded state after an exchange of fire between the two parties.

Police has said that the arrested terrorists were members of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and were identified as Zakaria alias Bhai Jaan, Mohammad Imran alias Humayun and Younus aka Baba.

“Detonators, batteries, bomb-making equipment along with hand grenades were also recovered from them”, police said.

Morever, an arrested target killer has confessed of killing several people on sectarian grounds.

In his statement, the killer, whose name is undisclosed, said that he carried out sectarian killings in several Karachi areas such as Numaish, Shah Faisal and Ghazi Town.
