Terrorists opened fire at the law enforcement agencies when they were carrying out a search operation in Saryab area of Quetta, security sources said.
An exchange of fire took place between the forces personnel and the terrorists in which three militants were killed.
Two Frontier Corps men also sustained injuries in the exchange of fire as well. The injured were shifted to a medical facility for medical treatment.
The slain terrorists were affiliated with a banned organization, security sources said.
Two kalashnikovs, three mobile phones and two motorcycles were recovered from the slain gunmen.
