According to details received by ARY News, jet fighters pounded suspected militant hideouts at Tirah Valley due to which 12 terrorists were slain and seven others were wounded.
Several hideouts of militants were also destroyed in the airstrike today.
Armed forces of Pakistan launched military offensives in North Waziristan and Khyber Agency in 2014 after series of terrorist attacks in the country.
More than a thousand militants have been killed in the operations so far.
