LAHORE: Fizza Batool, domestic maid tortured from the hands of a college professor named Salman Rafiq, succumbed to her injuries in a hospital on Sunday night, ARY News reports.
Fizza Batool was brought to a hospital in a critical state and was fighting for her life. She passed away last night after her heart beat had stopped.
She was a resident of Sialkot.
Police had arrested the professor earlier and is in police custody for three day physical remand. According to sources, Rafiq had confessed of torturing the girl as well.
