Treason Case: Security tightened after court attack

ISLAMABAD: Special Court will resume the hearing of the treason case against former President General (Retd.) Pervez Musharraf here in Islamabad on Tuesday (today) whereas a new security plan has been made for the hearing after the court attack in Islamabad which claimed at least 11 lives, ARY News reports.

A special security plan has been made to ensure the safety of the judges after the court attack on Monday. At least 11 people, including a sessions’ judge, were killed when armed persons attacked a district court on Monday.

According to the new security plan, an Anti Terrorist Force will be deployed for the safety of the judges. Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) will also check the court before the hearing whereas two police mobiles will also be provided for each judge.
