ISLAMABAD: Special court hearing high treason case under Article 6 of the constitution against former president Pervez Musharraf on Friday reserved its decision over the report of medical board over the state of health of Musharraf, ARY News reported on Friday.

The Registrar of the court will release the decision today.

Earlier, Anwar Mansoor, counsel of Pervez Musharraf, submitted the reply of the defence over the objections raised by the chief prosecutor Akram Shaikh.

The counsel said that the objections of prosecution are a conspiracy to malign the doctor and the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology. The report has been prepared by the board of doctors but only a doctor being targeted for it and the prosecution has demanded for his cross-examination, which is impossible under existing laws and in present situation.

He called the objections of prosecution as personal objections of the prosecuting counsel. He said the defence has submitted a plea in the court contesting appointment of Akram Shaikh as the chief prosecutor.

The counsel also contended that the case has been filed on the directives of the Supreme Court and sought hearing of the defence stance over the matter.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case until Tuesday.
