Tributes to Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob on his first death anniversary

Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob set an example for others by rendering great social services. He was born in Surat city of India in 1944.

The late chairman of the ARY Group migrated to Pakistan along with his family at the time of partition, while he moved to Dubai in 1969.

Mr Yaqoob started business with a limited capital; however his hard work, untiring efforts and dedication helped his business expand manifolds.

Abdul Razzak Yaqoob revered as ‘Haji Sahib’ founded the ARY Group in 1972, while he also served as the chairman of World Memon Organization.

Political and religious parties across the country paid tributes to Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob for the services he rendered for humanity.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief, Altaf Hussain said that the way Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob strived to disseminate knowledge and information to the masses through ARY Network, it shows his wisdom, intellect, foresight and unshaken determination.

Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Dr Tahirul Qadri said that Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob served Islam, Pakistan and the poor throughout his life.

Former interior minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader, Rehman Malik in his message said that he never witnessed an angelic man like Haji Sahib.

Political and social figures as well as common people, while paying tribute to Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob, said that he rendered unforgettable services for the country and for the nation, whereas the late chairman of ARY Group dedicated his entire life for serving the humanity.

They said that Mr Yaqoob was an amicable man, who always treated his employees as his family members, while he was also a die-hard devotee of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), sufis and saints.

Although, a year has passed since the chairman of ARY Group departed, yet he will always be remembered for his sincere services for Islam and the country.
