KABUL: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif attended the tripartite summit between Pakistan, Afghanistan and Independent State Allied Forces (AISAF) here on Monday, during which he exchanged his views on the regional situation, with Afghan and AISAF commanders – ARY News reports.
According to the issued press release of the trilateral meeting, Pakistan Army Chief, General Raheel Sharif had a detailed exchange of views with Afghan authorities on the security situation of the region.
On this occasion, affairs pertaining to enhancing cooperation at the Pak-Afghan frontier and border violations were also discussed by the top commanders.
Moreover, General Raheel Sharif also met the interim Afghan President and the Afghan Minister of Defence, General Bismillah Muhammadi.
