JI trying to solve Imran, Govt standoff, says Baloch

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader Liaquat Baloch has said that his party is trying to solve the confrontation between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and federal government within the limits of the constitution, ARY News reports.

Liaquat Baloch, while talking to media, said that there are some complications in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and any decision should be made in view of the facts.

“Protest is a war of nerves. We have spoken to PTI Chairman Imran Khan and the government within the constitutional limits”, he said.

He added that the two parties should hold talks within the constitutional limits and democratic forces should seek solution of the crisis with mutual understanding.
