PESHAWAR: Banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has claimed responsibility of Razzaqabad bomb blast that killed at least 13 policemen and injured over 50 others earlier in the day, ARY News reported on Thursday.
In a statement, TTP claimed responsibility of the blast that ripped through a police van near Elite Police Training Center in Razzakabad area.
A police van was targeted by a explosives-laden vehicle on Thursday morning, killing 13 cops and injuring over four dozen others. Police are yet to confirm whether it was a suicide blast. However, Bomb Disposal Squad has hinted after intial investigation that it could be a suicide attack.
