TTP denies any link to Peshawar blast, Jundullah
MIRANSHAH: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan spokesman Shahid Ullah Shahid, in a statement today, said that the militant organization has nothing to do with the Peshawar incident, ARY News reports on Wednesday.
Shahid Ullah Shahid also denied the presence of any Taliban group named Jundullah. "There is no such TTP group named Jundullah", he added.
TTP spokesperson stated that there is no clear introduction of Ahmad Ullah Marwat, the person claiming responsiblity for the attack.
"If Marwat claims responsibility for other events then it should be understood that Taliban are not behind it", Shahid said.
At least nine persons were killed and more than 30 others were injured in a suicide attack at Qissa Khwani Bazaar on Tuesday.
