TTP responds to SIC’s challenge for debate
NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Mohmand Agency chief, Khalid Khurasani has responded to the challenge for a debate by Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) – ARY News reports.
According to details, Khalid Khurasani in a social media post replied the SIC, suggesting for the venue of the dialogue to be in some other country or to insure security.
It was also demanded that the Ulama of Ittehad Tanzeemat ul Madaris will play the role of an arbitrator and if SIC loses the debate, then it will have to support Taliban stance.
Earlier, the SIC had challenged the TTP to hold a debate on the conditions of Jihad.
It was claimed by the SIC that the practices of Pakistani Taliban are not in accordance with the conditions of Islamic concept of Jihad.
