Two cannibal brothers sent on 10-day physical remand
SARGODHA: The Special Anti-Terrorism Court Sargodha remanded two cannibal brothers to police for a 10-day remand, ARY News reported Tuesday.
Police requested the special court that physical remand of cannibal brothers was essential to progress the investigation process. The court approved their request and sent the accused to police custody for physical remand of 10 days.
The next hearing of the case will be held on May 2.
The cannibal brothers, hailing from Bhakkar district, Punjab, were accused of eating flesh of dead bodies by disinterring graves.
They were also caught in the inhumane practice and were imprisoned for a year in 2011, but they never quit their wild practice.
They were re-arrested this year after complaints by local people of the area.
